SAIC Motor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Emory QiFeng as its new Managing Director. With over 25 years of experience in the global automotive sector, Mr. Qi is set to lead the company as it aims to strengthen its presence in the Malaysian market.
Mr. Emory Qi’s career in the automotive industry began in 1998. He has held several key leadership roles within SAIC-Volkswagen Sales Co., Ltd., where he distinguished himself in Network Planning and Development, as well as After-Sales Strategy.
Moreover, his expertise in these areas has significantly contributed to enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In 2023, he was appointed Director of Global Business at SAIC Motor International Co., Ltd., where he played a crucial role in shaping the brand’s international growth strategy.
In 2024, Mr. Qi joined SAIC Motor Malaysia as Chief Operating Officer. His exceptional leadership and strategic vision have now led to his promotion as Managing Director, a position that entails overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including sales, marketing, and product strategy.
