Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) continues to strengthen its foothold in the Malaysian automotive market with the opening of a new 3S Centre in Jerteh, Terengganu. This strategic expansion marks the third Mitsubishi Motors showroom in the state and brings the total number of showrooms nationwide to 61.

Located at Lot 3309-3310, Jalan Padang Luas, Taman Pelangat 2 22000, Jerteh, Terengganu, the new facility is positioned along the main road connecting Kota Bharu to Kuala Terengganu. This prime location ensures easy accessibility for customers in the surrounding areas.

The 3,600-square-foot 3S Centre, operated by authorized dealer Lajina Motors Sdn Bhd, offers a comprehensive range of services, including Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. This all-in-one approach aims to provide convenience and support to Mitsubishi vehicle owners in the region.

Facility Features and Customer Experience

The new showroom incorporates Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity, aligning with the global brand message “Drive your Ambition.” Customers can expect a modern and welcoming environment that showcases the latest Mitsubishi vehicle lineup.

Key features of the 3S Centre include:

  • A comfortable customer lounge with Wi-Fi connectivity
  • A dedicated kids’ corner for families
  • A fully equipped service centre with multiple service bays

These amenities are designed to enhance the overall customer experience, whether visitors are exploring new vehicles or seeking maintenance services for their current Mitsubishi cars.

Expanding Market Reach and Accessibility

Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM, commented on the significance of this expansion: “As MMM progressively launches new Mitsubishi Motors models in Malaysia, we want to ensure our customers have greater coverage and accessibility of showrooms and service centers in an area convenient to them. Through this strategic move of opening a new showroom today, we aim to cover untapped locations and extend our sales and services to an even wider audience in Jerteh.”

The opening of this 3S Centre represents MMM’s commitment to improving its service network and meeting the growing demand for Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia. By establishing a presence in Jerteh, the company seeks to cater to previously underserved areas and provide local customers with easier access to Mitsubishi’s products and services.

The new 3S Centre is operated by Lajina Motors, a long-standing partner of Mitsubishi Motors since 2015. This marks Lajina Motors’ second 3S outlet in Terengganu, highlighting the strong relationship between MMM and its authorized dealers.

Ikeda expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, “With all its comfortable showroom facilities and advanced service equipment, I am sure our Mitsubishi customers in Jerteh are in good hands.”

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia: A Growing Presence

As the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, MMM has been steadily expanding its network since its establishment in 2005. The company now boasts:

  • 61 showrooms nationwide (including 8 4S centres)
  • 61 service centers across Malaysia
  • 16 showrooms in East Malaysia (8 in Sarawak and 8 in Sabah)
  • 27 authorized Body & Repair (B&P) outlets

MMM’s product lineup includes the popular Triton 4×4 pickup truck, imported as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit from Thailand, and the locally assembled (CKD) XPANDER. These vehicles cater to diverse customer needs, offering a mix of performance, comfort, and advanced technology.

Operating Hours and Contact Information

The new Lajina Motors 3S Centre in Jerteh operates from Saturday to Thursday, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, and is closed on Fridays. Customers can visit the showroom to explore Mitsubishi’s latest models, schedule service appointments, or inquire about spare parts.
