New Peugeot Taipan Showroom Is The 1st To Launch Since Stellantis Malaysia Took Over
Peugeot Malaysia gets its first new dealership since Stellantis Malaysia entered the picture.
The Peugeot brand is undergoing a resurgence in Malaysia with Stellantis Malaysia fairly recently taking over as principal and launching a new 408 model. Now the brand aims to begin its expansion plans. The first step comes in the form of a new dealership in the population dense Subang Jaya. The new Peugeot Subang Jaya showroom is being operated by Allure Auto Sdn Bhd and will mark the first dealership launch for the French marque in Malaysia ever since the Stellantis takeover.
This new showroom features Peugeot’s latest corporate identity and introduces a 3D configuration tool for an interactive purchase experience. The building houses 4 display vehicles and one vehicle deliver bay. Sales consultants have all received training directly from Stellantis Malaysia.
This new dealership will also take things one step at a time – beginning as a 1S showroom give customers an opportunity to experience Peugeot vehicles first hand as well as to collect orders and answer and inquiries. Allure Auto is also currently renovating a nearby building in order to expand its operations to include a service centre. The 2S facility is situated a few minutes away from the sales point and progress has been promising. It’s currently about 70% done and should be operational by the end of Q3 2024. When done, this service centre will have 5,800 sqft of floor space – enough to house 8 service bays as well as a body and paint repair facility.
