Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the locally assembled GLC 350 e 4MATIC, a new plug-in hybrid that elevates their luxury SUV lineup. This model merges the efficiency of electric driving with the robust performance of a combustion engine, affirming its status as a leader in its segment.
Moreover, this plug-in hybrid SUV embodies Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to luxury and advanced technology, representing a significant step toward future mobility with its blend of convenience and performance.
The GLC 350 e 4MATIC boasts a sophisticated powertrain combining a 1,999 cc four-cylinder petrol engine, generating 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque, with an electric motor producing 100kW and 440 Nm of torque. This results in a combined output of 313hp and 550Nm, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 218km/h.
On top of that, its 25.4 kWh high-voltage battery supports the electric motor, and the vehicle features an 11 kW charger for home or public charging, with a mode 2 cable included for added flexibility. In terms of safety and technology, the GLC 350 e 4MATIC comes equipped with the Driving Assistance Package Plus.
This includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Stop-and-Go Assist, and Active Steering Assist, along with comprehensive safety features such as Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Blind Spot Assist.
Externally, the GLC 350 e 4MATIC reflects the Mercedes-Benz SUV design language with its AMG Line package, including a distinctive AMG front apron, chrome accents, and a panoramic sliding sunroof. It rides on 20-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels and features the DIGITAL LIGHT system and a signature grille, enhancing its sporty and elegant appearance.
Inside, the GLC 350 e 4MATIC showcases the AMG Line interior, highlighted by black ARTICO leather upholstery, microfiber trim, and AMG sports pedals. The vehicle is equipped with the MBUX infotainment system with Navigation Premium and Augmented Reality for improved guidance, and a Burmester 3D surround sound system for premium audio.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC also offers 490 litres of luggage capacity and includes a Parking Package with a 360-degree camera and Active Parking Assist, ensuring ease and convenience in everyday use and goes for RM398,888, on the road without insurance, with 10 percent sales tax.
