Facelifted Mitsubishi Xpander Coming Soon, Expected To Go For RM115,000

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, has announced the arrival of the newly facelifted Mitsubishi Xpander seven-seater. The updated model has officially rolled out from the assembly line and is now available for booking at an introductory price of RM115,000, available for a limited time only.
Assembled in the Pekan, Pahang assembly plant, the Mitsubishi Xpander is expected to make its formal debut later this month. The Xpander has no doubt been the most famous model the brand has sold in Malaysia for a while now but considering the current version goes for RM100,980, this new price is a big leap.
Moreover, in its single variant, the Mitsubishi Xpander has been one of the most popular compact 7-seater options here in Malaysia for a very long time but considering how many cars are getting much more expensive and salaries are staying stagnant, more Malaysia buyers are turning to cheaper options so will the new Xpander still fare well? Let’s hope so.
The facelifted Mitsubishi Xpander sports a more robust and dynamic appearance, featuring a redesigned rear with new light shapes, a horizontally styled rear spoiler, and an updated bumper. These changes add to the lifestyle element of the car.
The facelifted Mitsubishi Xpander also boasts class-leading ground clearance of 225mm, best-in-class interior space of 837 litres with the second-row seats folded, and a first-in-class rear driving video recorder, complemented by an electric parking brake for enhanced driving convenience.
On top of that, the brand’s focus on reliability and safety has made the Mitsubishi Xpander a very sensible purchase indeed, however, as I mentioned before, buyers are now more budget conscious than ever so Mitsubishi has a “surprise” up it’s sleeve that it will soon announce so what exactly is this surprise? Well, let’s wait and see. Hopefully it’s a big discount.
In celebration of the Xpander’s pre-launch, Mitsubishi is also introducing the “Drive Your Ambition Brand Festival.” This event will feature a range of exciting activities and offers for the public, with the introductory price of RM115,000 for a limited time only.
What’s more, the first 500 customers who book and register the Xpander through the Mitsubishi Online Showroom will receive a complimentary Naturehike Camping Wagon valued at RM400. Additionally, Mitsubishi showrooms nationwide will host various events and activities starting in September, providing customers with more opportunities to engage with the brand.
