ZEEKR X Electric Crossover Might Be Priced From RM152,500

All-Electric ZEEKR X Details Shared Here

The ZEEKR X is a compact luxury SUV created for urban lifestyles. Formerly known as the ZEEKR 003, the ZEEKR X is the third vehicle under the ZEEKR brand after the ZEEKR 001 sedan and the ZEEKR 009 MPV.

Pricing for the ZEEKR X starts at €44,990 (incl. VAT) and 550,000 SEK (incl. VAT) for the single motor Long Range model in Europe. Once launched in Malaysia, we are looking at a possible selling price that will start from RM152,500 which has been shared below on social media.

PRESS RELEASE: Effortlessly blending stunningly pure surfaces and details, its bold, unique, extrovert form is also timeless, thanks to proportions based on the same ‘golden ratio’ used in the worlds of architecture, art, and product design, and which still inform all great vehicle designs to this day.

Measuring 4,432mm long, 1,566mm high and with a 2,750mm wheelbase, the ZEEKR X is perfectly sized for busy city streets, where its head-turning looks are sure to attract attention. Yet the allure of its design is also determined by what you don’t see. The doors use a frameless design, elegant in their simplicity.

To further enhance their clean, sophisticated aesthetic, the window sealing strips are hidden, delivering an almost seamless transition between sheet metal and glass. The door mirrors are also frameless, resulting in a smaller frontal area, which together with the deployable door handles which helps to reduce wind resistance, contributing to the ZEEKR X’s low drag coefficient of just 0.28 Cd, which enhances both range and refinement.

The tail lights, which extend across the full width of the tailgate, are another innovation and are made from lightweight organic glass material and incorporate 229 LEDs, with a glowing white ‘ZEEKR’ logo in the center.

In harmony with the double-edged daytime running lights and adding to the sense of theater, the tail lights also provide a welcome sequence when the vehicle is unlocked.

Belying its compact exterior dimensions, the interior offers incredible space in the front and the back, fully leveraging the packaging benefits offered by the all-electric powertrain. Making the cabin feel even more inviting is the arc-shaped panoramic roof.

With an area of 1.21 square meters, its composite sandwich design allows daylight to bathe the interior while insulating it from noise and UV rays. Luxuries such as massage seats, offered on the Privilege model, and a 13-speaker Yamaha surround sound audio system add to the sense of tranquility.

Like the ZEEKR 001, the ZEEKR X uses state-of-the-art electric motor and battery technology to deliver range, efficiency and performance without compromise.

The 69kWh Lithium-ion battery, like its stablemate’s 100kWh pack, uses NMC cells from CATL for optimum energy density and durability. With a 200kW (272hp), 343Nm electric motor integrated into the rear axle, together with third-generation silicon-carbide inverter technology, the Long Range model can accelerate from 0-100km/h in only 5.6 seconds.

It can also achieve around 440km (subject to WLTP homologation)1 between charges – more than enough for most urban commutes, and still with plenty of range to spare. (ZEEKR X: Combined power consumption in kWh/100km: 16.4-18.3 (Estimation), Combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 0).

Adding a second motor at the front raises the powertrain’s maximum output to an incredible 428hp and 543Nm of torque for the Privilege model which is enough for it to sear to 100km/h from rest in a blistering 3.8 seconds, with the benefit of all-wheel drive traction and control.

Just as in the ZEEKR 001, the powertrain can seamlessly switch from all- to rear-wheel drive as required in only 0.4 seconds in order to enhance efficiency and range: around 400km (subject to WLTP homologation)

An additional efficiency-enhancing technology is the heat pump integrated into the climate control system. By scavenging energy from the outside air and using this to warm the cabin instead of relying solely on the electric heater, the amount of energy drawn from the battery is reduced, helping to significantly increase real-world range in winter.

When the time comes to recharge, the ZEEKR X’s 150kW DC charging capability can replenish the battery from 0-80 percent in less than 30 minutes. Using the powerful 22kW AC on-board charger, a full charge takes approximately four hours, making home charging fast and convenient.

The ZEEKR X’s intelligent cockpit offers cutting-edge technology, just like its larger sibling, proving that every ZEEKR is designed to deliver a truly immersive user experience.

The 8.8-inch HD instrument cluster and ‘floating’ 14.6-inch HD touchscreen are matched to a 24.3- inch augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD). The AR-HUD can project graphics onto the windscreen which overlay objects in the view ahead: this can enhance navigation instructions or ADAS system warnings, for example, to better support the driver and enhance safety.

Another innovation is the 360-degree HD panoramic imaging system. Using wide angle cameras, the system is able to display a highly detailed image of the vehicle’s surroundings on the touchscreen. In busy, complex urban driving environments, it accurately predicts how far away objects and pedestrians are, enabling it to quickly alert the driver to potential hazards.

Using the touchscreen, the driver can select individual settings for the accelerator, regenerative braking, and steering to tailor the vehicle’s dynamic character to suit any kind of driving conditions – from rush hour city traffic to twisty country roads.

Making every journey more enjoyable is a specially developed, 13-speaker Yamaha surround sound audio system, which offers superb, home cinema quality sound reproduction.
