The World Ducati Week Saw Record Attendance For The 2024 Edition

World Ducati Week is the biggest Ducati event in the world and it didn’t disappoint

World Ducati Week (WDW) 2024, held from 26 July to 28 July at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli,” attracted a record-breaking crowd of over 94,000 attendees, marking the most successful edition in the event’s history.

Enthusiasts from 86 countries descended on Misano to celebrate Ducati’s vibrant community and to experience three thrilling days of festivities. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, expressed his excitement about the event, highlighting how WDW exemplifies the brand’s commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences through its blend of technology and Italian sporting elegance.

Moreover, Domenicali praised the exceptional turnout, which underscores the global passion for Ducati. He also extended gratitude to all participants, Ducati staff, and riders, including those who contributed to the spectacular Lenovo Race of Champions.

The 2024 edition featured a diverse array of activities, including meet-and-greets with Ducati riders, riding courses, test rides, stunt performances, and technical discussions. The paddock showcased various Ducati themes such as Adrenaline & Fun, Travel & Adventure, and Lifestyle, offering a comprehensive glimpse into Ducati’s world.

On top of that, a highlight was the “New Panigale V4 Sphere,” where the latest Panigale V4, Ducati’s seventh-generation super sport bike, was unveiled. The Sphere allowed attendees to view the bike in Ducati Red and gain insights into its technical features. The Panigale V4 played a central role in the Lenovo Race of Champions, a major attraction of WDW 2024.

The race saw 15 specially liveried bikes compete, with Francesco Bagnaia securing victory and demonstrating the new bike’s impressive performance. The event’s race pace was notably faster than previous years, reflecting the Panigale V4’s advancements.

What’s more, the Lenovo Race of Champions also gained global attention, with 687,000 viewers tuning in online and coverage from 12 international media outlets. Post-race, autographed Ducati motorcycles from the event were quickly sold online, showcasing the high demand for these unique collectibles.

WDW 2024 also featured a massive parade of Ducati motorcycles, a key moment in the festivities. The parade, which was the largest ever, moved through Misano and culminated in Riccione with the “Rustida” party. The event’s grand finale, “La Notte dei Campioni,” transformed the track into an open-air disco, complete with DJ sets from Fargetta and Rudeejay and a spectacular fireworks display.

Overall, WDW 2024 succeeded in uniting Ducati enthusiasts from around the world, showcasing the brand’s innovation and community spirit.
