Rimac Nevera R Announced, Limited To Only 40 Units Globally

The limited run Rimac Nevera R is a meaner, more stylish version of the original

Rimac Automobili has unveiled the Nevera R, a groundbreaking addition to their lineup that redefines the boundaries of hypercars. As the more aggressive counterpart to the existing Nevera, the Nevera R transforms from a Hyper GT into a Hyper Sports Car, embodying the Rimac philosophy of being Radical, Rebellious, and Relentless.

The Nevera R represents a significant leap in performance, equipped with next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring and advanced braking systems. With a staggering 2,107hp, it outpaces the original Nevera in both agility and acceleration. The car accelerates from 0 to 300km/h in just 8.66 seconds, surpassing its predecessor’s capabilities.

Moreover, significant engineering updates differentiate the Nevera R from its predecessor. The car’s driving dynamics have been fine-tuned, including a performance-oriented battery system and more advanced brakes. The aerodynamic design has also been refined to enhance its performance. The Nevera R features a lower, sleeker profile with a forward-thrusting stance, marked by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels.

The aggressive aerodynamic package includes a prominent rear wing and a large diffuser, increasing downforce by 15 Percent and aerodynamic efficiency by 10 percent. New Michelin Cup 2 tires contribute to a 10 percent reduction in understeer and a 5 percent increase in lateral grip, shaving 3.8 seconds off its lap time around the Nardo Handling Track.

On top of that, the Nevera R is designed for a highly engaging driving experience, with a new generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system that maximises the potential of its high-performance tires. Enhanced downforce and refined traction control ensure stability and predictability, even in challenging conditions.

The updated steering system offers sharper response and improved feedback. Underpinning the Nevera R is an advanced 108kWh Rimac battery pack, which delivers even more power and efficiency in a lighter package. The vehicle boasts an impressive array of performance figures, including a top speed of 412km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just 1.74 seconds.

The Rimac Nevera R will be available in a limited production run of only 40 units globally. It features a new Nebula green colour scheme and a highly customizable interior, with options for matching or personalised painted carbon elements. The Rimac Nevera R is set to be a pinnacle of high-performance automotive engineering, continuing Rimac’s tradition of innovation and excellence.
