Puspakom Announces New 16 Hour Operation Hours Daily Trial Period
Puspakom says this trial period will run from 2 September 2024 to 3 January 2025
Puspakom has officially announced the launch of a trial period where it will be operating for 16 hours a day at its Glenmarie branch. This trial will begin on 2 September 2024 and run all the way through to 3 January 2025. This is a proactive step by Puspakom to accommodate the increasing demand for vehicle inspections and also one its strategic steps towards open market scope in the vehicle inspection industry in Malaysia.
During this trial period, customers who wish to have their vehicle inspected at the Puspakom Glenmarie branch can make an appointment in advance starting from 16 August 2024 at www.myPuspakom.com.my. With these new operating hours, Puspakom can surely provide more people with the opportunity to inspect their vehicles than before.
Moreover, Chief Executive Officer of Puspakom, Mr. Mahmood Razak Bahman, said these extended operating hours are part of a pilot project Puspakom to assess the appropriateness of implementing more operating hours. After all, with many Malaysians working a 9 to 5 job, they will never be able to find the time to have their vehicles inspected otherwise.
Mahmood added, “We are trying to extend operating hours to reduce congestion in Puspakom branches that have high customer volume and for this, we chose Puspakom Glenmarie as an experimental branch to start with so we can identify areas for improvement.”
“We want to see the response of customers to the extension of these operating hours and if it gets a good response, we will implement it in tiers in other branches.” concluded Mahmood. This initiative not only reflects Puspakom’s commitment in providing better service, but is also an effort to ensure customers can plan inspections more flexibly and comfortably.
On top of that, Puspakom Glenmarie branch welcomes all Malaysians who wish to have their vehicles inspected with these new, longer operating hours and will continue to provide the best service it can to all its customers. Do note that the operating hours at all other Puspakom branches will remain the same, specifically from 8:00am to 5:30pm during this period though.
