Audi A6 Performance
The Audi A6 is the second car from the brand to be built on the PPE, which is VW Group’s cutting edge medium-to-large electric chassis. It features 800-volt technology and a maximum DC charging capacity of 270 kW. 11kW charging is possible and 22kW charging will be offered later on. Advanced recuperation allows the system to take up 95 percent of all braking duties.
Charging stations with 400-volt tech can split the batteries into two banks to conduct parallel charging up to 135kW.
In terms of speed, the A6 e-tron is rear-wheel driven has a total system output of 270kW which lends it a 0-100km/h time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 210km/h. The S6 e-tron features quattro all-wheel drive and has 370kW available with a temporary boost to 405kW with launch control. These high-performance electric vehicles complete the century sprint in 3.9 seconds and have a top speed of 240km/h.
There’s optional adaptive air suspension with controlled damping here. The system lowers the car by 20mm in efficiency mode to improve aerodynamics.

Will It Come to Malaysia?
Before Audi Malaysia brings in the A6 e-tron or S6 e-tron, we’ll have to see if they try the Q6 e-tron here first. The SUV makes a little bit more sense as it has been around a little longer and has a larger appeal. Based on the success of the Q6, we can more accurately gauge the viability of more compact EVs from Audi in Malaysia.
