Elderly Lady Crashes Her New BMW X1 SUV Into A Dozen Cars

So what happened with this elderly BMW driver and why did it happen?

So not too long ago, a video surfaced online of a BMW X1 SUV crashing into a bunch of cars near a shop lot and the driver, an elderly woman along with who I assume is her husband sat next to her walked out of the car looking mostly unharmed so it appears that neither of them were, thankfully, very badly hurt.

However, this does not mean significant damage was not done. The video regarding this (which is on our Instagram) shows a bunch of other cars banged up ranging from small dents in some places to major “crater” looking holes in them in multiple locations. The shop lot where the BMW X1 stopped was right in front of a car with its entire front bumper detached.

Moreover, I could spin this entire story to make it a cry for help saying that older drivers in Malaysia need to be retested by JPJ to keep their licences but then again, I think we all know there are bigger problems the country should fix first (education, welfare, housing, etc)and I would rather not make another plea that will only fall on deaf ears again.

Well, white what happened from start to finish to me (given that 98 percent of the narration in the video was in a language I do not speak), what is clear is that the elderly woman driving the BMW X1 either lost control of her vehicle or something startled her and she decided mass destruction of property was the answer.

Later in the video, the man I assume is her husband walks out of the front passenger door but the woman was still in her seat refusing to leave the vehicle. This makes the BMW driver seem very guilty so I will just blissfully think she just made a silly mistake while steering and then crashed into all these other cars.

As usual, we here at DSF remind all our readers to always remain vigilant while driving and to never try to be a hero and drive your car within your own capabilities.
