Discover A Volvo Made for You At Sentul Depot (9-11 August)
Volvo Car Malaysia will showcase some custom looks and offer special Volvo Made For You packages and rebates on their EVs.
Malaysia is one of the most diverse countries in the world, but what unifies us is our appreciation for cars. As cars are a reflection of their owners, Malaysians are often quite expressive with their vehicles, utilizing decals, wraps, rims, and accessories.
Conversely, there’s another group that adheres to the philosophy of “stock is best”, preferring everything be left as it was from the factory. What if you could combine these two perspectives?
This is precisely what Volvo Car Malaysia has done with their fully electric C40 and XC40 models. These vehicles have been made especially for a showcase event that will be held between 9th and 11th August 2024 at Sentul Depot where you can discover “A Volvo Made for You”.
This event brings to life Volvo’s BEV lineup reimagined for actual owners, whether through custom wraps or with the addition of some distinctive accessories. You’re invited to experience it for yourself and when you purchase an electric Volvo during that weekend, and you’ll stand to receive additional offers on top of cash rebates of up to RM25,000. Or, if Volvo’s RM43,000 “Made for You” accessory package appeals to you, you can simply request it and they’ll fit it on the car you order free of charge*.
Volvo is known for safety, and any purchase of a Volvo BEV comes with additional peace of mind. If you buy a Volvo C40 and XC40, you will still get:

If you’re not in the Klang Valley and are unable to attend the event at Sentul Depot, there’s no need for concern – simply visit any Volvo dealer nationwide outside the Klang Valley and you should be eligible for the same offer. For those unable to attend, I can provide a brief preview of what’ll be on display that weekend.
First, let us get into the Volvo ‘Made for You’ package which is available for both C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric models. This package has been specially curated by Volvo to further elevate each model’s appearance and practicality.
On the exterior, the package includes integrated running boards, as well as 20″ rims, which are larger than stock, necessitating different tires. The set is completed with a sleek hubcap kit.
To enhance the aesthetic, this kit comes with an illuminated tailgate scuff plate for added visual appeal when loading cargo. Perhaps the most impressive and important part of this whole kit is found in the inside, in the form of a digital interior rearview mirror.
Of the main cars on display, four will feature custom vinyl wraps that reimagine the Volvo C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric for different owner personas.
The first pair features a highly masculine and elegant “ALL BLACK” wrap which presents a remarkably stealthy and aggressive appearance. All the chrome accents and even the Iron Mark on the front have been completely wrapped in matte black. The rims are not exempt from this dark theme. In fact, the only colour visible comes from the Thor’s Hammer daytime running light and the taillight signature, which stand out prominently against this vinyl wrap. Considering how powerful these cars are, the aggression of a blacked outlook is entirely deserved in my opinion.
The second pair under the ‘Trendsetter’ moniker takes inspiration from fashionable personalities who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd. Customers seeking a more fun-loving look can draw inspiration from the “TRENDSETTER” C40 Recharge Pure Electric in a yacht blue wrap. This colour effectively accentuates the C40’s lifestyle appeal. The other model is a highly colourful car which celebrates Scandinavian friluftsliv, roughly translated to ‘open-air living’, which more prominently expresses its Swedish roots. This custom exterior incorporates some whimsical artwork, featuring a custom doodle of moose on the side.
