ACO Tech recently celebrated its fifth anniversary with a forward-looking event, showcasing innovative solutions designed to meet evolving user needs. The celebration, held at the ATLAS Re event, featured a preview of ACO Tech’s advanced offerings, including an updated version of their ATLAS platform.
This new iteration will support virtual reality (VR) in Bahasa Melayu and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), catering specifically to Malaysian users. Additionally, ACO Tech is developing an e-Call emergency response system and a cloud-enabled Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication system to address traffic disruptions and accidents.
Moreover, for electric vehicle (EV) users, a new one-touch feature is being introduced to help locate charging stations, facilitate payments, and plan trips more easily. The anniversary event was attended by notable figures such as Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Yang Berhormat Tuan Chang Lih Kang; Dr. Li Chunrong, CEO of PROTON and more.
A significant part of the event was the release of a white paper titled “Application Scenarios and Data Governance of Connected Vehicles in Malaysia.” This paper discusses the advancements in 5G, AI, and big data, emphasising their role in enhancing road safety, traffic management, and user experiences.
It also addresses the importance of robust data security measures in the development of connected vehicle systems in Malaysia. The white paper advocates for collaborative data governance efforts among stakeholders to promote intelligent driving, service optimization, and industry sustainability. It is available for free download from the ACO Tech website.
On top of that, ACO Tech introduced a new logo symbolising their renewed vision and commitment to innovation in smart mobility. The logo’s circular form represents seamless connectivity and continuous improvement, with stylized elements that spell out ACO, with the letter “A” resembling a vehicle, reflecting the company’s focus on mobility.
CEO Li Pu emphasised the milestone of the fifth anniversary as a testament to ACO Tech’s leadership in smart mobility solutions. He highlighted the company’s efforts to combine local and international expertise to develop technologies that cater to current and future consumer demands. The new logo embodies ACO Tech’s dynamic vision and ambition for the future.
