Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the appointment of Nadia Trimmel as the new Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia & SEA II. This key leadership change, effective from July 1, 2024, marks a significant step in the luxury automaker’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric strategies in the region.

Trimmel, a seasoned automotive industry professional with nearly 25 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. Her impressive career trajectory includes pivotal positions at Ford and Nissan, showcasing her versatility and deep understanding of the automotive sector.

Joining Mercedes-Benz in 2014, Trimmel quickly ascended the ranks, demonstrating her leadership acumen. Her tenure as Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa and her role on the Mercedes-Benz South Africa Executive Committee since 2017 underscore her strategic vision and ability to drive business growth.

Trimmel’s academic credentials, including a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from Manchester Metropolitan University, provide a solid foundation for her leadership in the dynamic automotive landscape of Malaysia and the broader SEA II region.

In her new capacity, Trimmel will spearhead Mercedes-Benz’s marketing and sales operations, focusing on innovative strategies to enhance the brand’s market position. Her experience in implementing the “Retail of the Future” model in South Africa positions her well to lead similar initiatives in the Southeast Asian market.
