Mini Malaysia has unveiled four new members of the Mini family today
Mini, the most sophisticated compact premium automotive brand in Malaysia, celebrates the introduction of the new Mini family in Malaysia. Introducing four new models that encapsulate the new brand design language of “Charismatic Simplicity”, the new lineup was unveiled at the new Mini family Launch Event including the Mini Cooper SE for RM193,888.
The Mini Cooper SE, the latest all-electric member of the new Mini Family continues the success story of the iconic Mini Cooper, which has been the quintessential icon of Mini across generations. Featured alongside it at the event are three other new-generation Mini models, which were first previewed at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
Moreover, from the front, the new octagonal front grille features intricate contouring, providing a more striking fascia. Notably, the grille houses the smallest radar sensor among all BMW Group models. Adding another modern touch are the LED headlights with high-beam assistant, which come equipped with three distinct light signatures, each with their own unique animations.
On top of that, the interior of the new Mini Cooper SE shines the spotlight on the essentials, featuring fewer component parts, but each cleverly designed and with high quality in mind. From the driver’s seat, a three-spoke sport steering wheel in Vescin greets the driver, courtesy of the standard inclusion of the favoured Trim.
The new Mini Cooper SE delivers a crisp 218hp and 330Nm of torque, bringing the all-electric, 3-Door model to 100 km/h from standstill in just 6.7 seconds, capped at a top speed of 170 km/h and with a gross battery capacity of 54.2 kWh, the New Mini Cooper SE achieves a zero-emissions range of between 387km to 402km on a single charge.
