The most dynamic in the family, the 2nd generation Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ arrives.
Back in 2018, Mercedes-AMG showed off the GT R Pro, a more track-focused variant of the AMG GT. Now, the second generation Mercedes-AMG GT is also getting a “Pro” version of its own. The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ is the sportiest model in the AMG GT family with some race track capbilities thrown in.
The hand-built 4.0L V8 biturbo engine under the hood produces 612 horsepower and 850Nm of torque thanks to changes made to the ECU. 0-200km/h takes just 10.9 seconds and the top speed is now 317km/h. This puts it ahead of the standard AMG GT 63 model by all metrics.
Besides the additional power, the AMG GT 63 PRO also comes with improved cooling performance for continous high-performance driving on the track. All cooling circuits have been reinforced to take on the increased load. Both radiators have been repositioned to the right and left front wheel arches.
Besides that, the top-mounted radiators of the differentials on the front and rear axles and the transfer case of the 4MATIC+ system are now actively cooled with electrically operated water pumps. The geometry of the air guide vanes under the car have also been revised and there are new brake cover plates all in the name of improving air flow for better temperature management.
Aerodynamics have also been fine-tuned and this is evidenced by a redesigned front apron, additional air deflectors made of real cabon fibre and enlarged side intakes. There’s also a fixed rear ring on the tailgate as standard. Besides the reprofiled underboody air guides, there are also new air deflectors to accelerate the airflow. Overall, aerodynamic lift on the front axle is down by 30kg and downforce on the rear axle is up by 15kg.
Braking performance also sees an upgrade thanks to a the standard fit AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system with six-piston fixed calipers at the front and the one-piston floating calipers at the rear. The largest ever ceramic brake discs from Mercedes-AMG have been fitted to the front and they measure 420mm across. The discs are made of titanium to reduce weight and unsprung mass and have a long service life. New lightweight AMG Performance 21″ forged wheels in cross-spoke design are finished in Himalaya grey matte and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres. Optional Pilot Sport Cup 2R Cup tyres can be fitted at no extra charge.
Besides those changes, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ also comes with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package as standard, meaning you get carbon fibre parts for the front splitter, trim strips, diffuser and rear wing. brake calipers are painted in black. AMG Performance seats and the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/Microcut microfibre are included as standard. Other standard equipment includes the AMG Active Ride Control. The car can be fitted with 2+2 seating upon request.
