Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur unveils the Urus SE – the 1st Hybrid Super SUV
Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has launched the highly anticipated Urus SE, the brand’s first hybrid plug-in version of its iconic Super SUV just 2 months after its global reveal. This groundbreaking model marks a historic milestone for the Italian automaker, featuring a new design, optimized aerodynamics, cutting-edge technology, and an electrifying 800 CV hybrid powertrain.
Unmatched Driving Experience
The Urus SE offers an unparalleled driving experience, thanks to its plug-in hybrid system. A twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine (620 CV) is combined with an electric powertrain (192 CV), delivering a total output of 800 CV and 950 Nm of torque. This potent combination propels the Urus SE from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 11.2 seconds, with a top speed of 312 km/h.
Advanced Electrified Powertrain
The Urus SE features a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery and a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic transmission. This setup allows the Urus SE to operate as a 100% electric 4WD vehicle capable of traveling more than 60 km in EV mode.
Innovative Torque Vectoring
Debuting on the Urus SE is a centrally-located longitudinal electric torque vectoring system that continuously distributes driving torque between the front and rear axles. Combined with an electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle, this system provides maximum traction and agility on any surface.
Aerodynamic Design
The Urus SE’s design focuses on aerodynamic efficiency, with a new floating hood, redesigned front and rear sections, and optimized airflow management. These enhancements increase rear downforce by 35% at high speeds and improve cooling efficiency by 30%.
Customizable Interior
The cabin features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with an intuitive Human Machine Interface and a dedicated telemetry system. Customers can choose from over 100 exterior colors, 47 interior color combinations, and various customization options through the Ad Personam program.
Driving Modes
The “tamburo” selector offers six driving modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa, Neve, Sabbia, Terra) combined with four Electric Performance Strategies (EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, Recharge), providing 11 distinct driving experiences.
The Lamborghini Urus SE is now available for booking in Malaysia through Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur, with a starting price of RM 1,028,000 before taxes, duties, and customization.
