Honda Launches N-VAN e: Commercial Mini Electric Van in Japan
The Honda N-VAN e is the company’s first MINI electric van and it’s made for the Japanese market.
Honda is introducing an exciting new commercial electric vehicle (EV) to the Japanese market – the N-VAN e:. This mini-EV is set to go on sale starting October 10, 2024, offering businesses and consumers a versatile and eco-friendly transportation solution. Given how many N-Box vehicles have been imported into Malaysia by the grey market, there’s a chance these electric vans might find their way to Malaysia just in time to take advantage of tax-free pricing. That being said, its range is quite disappointing and that may make it less than viable for our market.
What is the Honda N-VAN e:?
The N-VAN e: is a commercial-use mini electric van developed by Honda, building upon the popular gasoline-powered N-VAN model. While retaining the N-VAN’s signature features like a large cargo space, flat low floor, high ceiling, and passenger-side access, the N-VAN e: adds unique EV capabilities.

- Driving Range: 245 km on a single charge in WLTC mode
- Fast Charging: Approximately 4.5 hours for normal charging (6.0 kW) or 30 minutes for fast charging (50 kW)
