EV Charging just got more accessible because of EVC and Autocharge by Jomcharge
Today marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of electric vehicle (EV) charging as EVC unveils the groundbreaking AutoCharge feature for their DC Chargers via the JomCharge app. This milestone represents a significant leap forward in enhancing EV charging convenience and accessibility.
Previously, AutoCharge was exclusively available to a select group of Chery Omoda users, requiring manual registration at EVC offices. However, with its official launch, AutoCharge now opens its doors to all EV enthusiasts, revolutionising the charging process at over 200 AutoCharge supported charging points nationwide.
Moreover, at the core of AutoCharge’s innovation lies its seamless functionality. By automatically recognizing the vehicle ID upon connection to the charger, users are spared the hassle of navigating multiple charging apps or scanning QR codes. This is sure to help as there are far too many EV for the current amount of chargers we have right now.
The integration with the JomCharge app ensures a streamlined payment process, with charges seamlessly billed to the user’s payment card. Responding to overwhelming demand from the EV community, EVC’s dedicated Research and Development (R&D) team has tirelessly worked to expand AutoCharge capability across their network of JomCharge chargers.
On top of that, these chargers are easily identifiable by the distinctive AutoCharge sticker, serving as a beacon of convenience for EV owners. Initially catering to Chery and GAC Aion users, EVC remains committed to broadening AutoCharge benefits by forging strategic partnerships with other leading car manufacturers.
