Chery Malaysia Announces Support For Local Athletes Heading To Paris
Medal winners will also be getting new Chery cars as a gift from the brand
Chery Malaysia proudly announces its unwavering support for the local athletes set to compete in the upcoming Paris Games next month. These athletes, who have demonstrated unparalleled dedication and perseverance in their rigorous training regimes, embody the spirit of Malaysian sportsmanship.
Chery Malaysia is eager to rally behind them as they embark on their quest for glory on the international stage. Leo Chen, President of Chery Auto Malaysia, expressed confidence in the athletes’ preparations, acknowledging the immense effort and countless hours they have invested.

Gold medalists will drive home in the spacious seven-seater Tiggo 8 Pro, while silver medalists will be awarded the cutting-edge all-electric Omoda E5, and bronze medalists will receive the Tiggo 7 Pro, designed for both style and functionality.
The announcement of this partnership was also made during a special event attended by distinguished figures including Datuk Stuart Ramalingam, CEO of the Malaysian Football League and Coordinator of the Road to Gold Programme, Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd, and Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International.
On top of that, their presence underscored the significance of this collaboration in fostering national pride and supporting the athletes’ pursuit of excellence. Abdul Rashid Yaakub, Director-General of the National Sports Council, expressed gratitude for Chery Malaysia’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding sporting achievements.
