Check out the stylish and quirky lineup from Stellantis at Malaysia Autoshow 2024
Stellantis, the world’s fourth-largest automaker, made a significant debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. Fresh off the successful launch of the all-new Peugeot 408, Stellantis showcased a diverse lineup from its Peugeot, Citroën, and Leapmotor brands, underscoring its long-term commitment to the Malaysian market and its vision of offering multi-energy vehicles across various segments.
Peugeot, renowned for its alluring designs and innovative spirit, highlighted two key models: the newly launched Peugeot 408 and the enhanced Peugeot Landtrek Special Edition (SE). Both models are assembled at the advanced Stellantis plant in Gurun, Kedah. The all-new Peugeot 408, available in Allure, Premium, and GT variants starting at RM146,055, features a forward-thinking design and advanced technology, aiming to set a new standard in its segment.
Moreover, the Peugeot Landtrek SE, tailored for Malaysia’s diverse driving conditions, boasts upgraded suspensions for a sportier ride and new practical accessories. Available in Rockstone Grey and Ceramic White, the Landtrek SE is priced at RM129,124, appealing to adventure enthusiasts with its urban and off-road capabilities.
Citroën, another esteemed Stellantis brand, teased its return to Malaysia with the display of the iconic Ami Buggy EV Quadricycle and the all-new C3 Aircross. These models highlight Citroën’s blend of bold design, superior comfort, and innovative features. The brand aims to reintroduce Malaysians to its unique Parisian flair, focusing on innovation, comfort, and joy in driving.
On top of that, Stellantis also announced the launch of Leapmotor International, a strategic joint venture with Chinese EV leader Leapmotor. Leapmotor’s C10, built on the advanced LEAP3.0 technology architecture, will be the first global product, offering a family-centric D-segment vehicle with a 420 km WLTP range and a 5-star E-NCAP rating.
This move aligns with Stellantis’ strategy to provide affordable and intelligent electric mobility solutions worldwide, including Malaysia. This also means that Stellantis is ready to make significant investments in the country with its vehicles so we should be seeing a lot more of those as time goes by.
Autoshow attendees can register for test drives of the new Peugeot 408 GT and the popular 3008 SUV. Off-road enthusiasts can experience the Peugeot Landtrek in exclusive 4×4 off-road activities. Visitors who book a Peugeot vehicle during the Autoshow will receive special savings of up to RM9,000 off the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, and one year of free service for the all-new Peugeot 408.
