The Mazda 6 also comes in a special 20th Anniversary Edition as well
The Mazda 6 has been updated for 2023 and Bermaz Motor is proud to present the Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition as well which commemorates the 20 years since the first generation car was released in 2002. We wrote about this car not too long ago and are glad that it is also coming to Malaysia too.
The Mazda 6 symbolizes the “Zoom-Zoom” that embodies the brand DNA. The Mazda 6 20th Anniversary edition was introduced to express gratitude to all Mazda customers. Continuing to embody the “driving pleasure,” that is synonymous with the brand’s heritage.
Moreover, the Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition adds unique styling for both its interior and exterior. Since we already wrote about the car, you can read about it here and we will now focus on the improvements that Mazda added to the new 6 for the 2023 model year and what makes it better than before.
The interior features of the car now include new options including tan for the 20th Anniversary edition which is also embossed on the front seat headrest. It is also now equipped with front ventilation seats, a Frameless Auto-dimming rear view mirror, a 7-inch Multi-info Display Instrument cluster and Rear Window Sunshade.
The 2023 Mazda 6 variants have also been enhanced with connectivity improvement features that come as standard across all variants, including Qi Wireless Charging. The higher spec models are now also equipped with new i-Activsense safety features similar to the new Mazda 3.
As for exterior colour options, the Mazda 6 comes in Arctic White, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, Machine Gray, Sonic Silver, Soul Red Crystal, Polymetal Gray and newly added colours, Platinum Quartz, Rhodium White Premium and Artisan Red Premium (20th Anniversary Edition variant only).
On top of that, the Artisan Red Premium, Mazda’s fourth special colour, was created through the brand’s unique Takuminuri painting technology. Takuminuri, which translates to “artisan coloring,” is a unique painting technology that reproduces a precise, high-quality paint finish as if applied by the hands of a skilled craftsman.
The selling price for the new 2023 Mazda 6 starts from RM180,359 and all new Mazda vehicles registered come with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance (except Mazda BT-50) according to manufacturer’s standards, including labour, parts and lubricants.
Both Manufacturer’s Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first. This now makes the new Mazda 6 look more attractive to me, especially with the way the D-segment sedan market is looking in Malaysia right now, what about you guys?
