Chief Operating Officer Kenkichi Sogo, who kicked off the Merdeka Convoy 66 at the Isuzu Jinjang outlet in Kuala Lumpur, emphasized the importance of this event in fostering a sense of camaraderie among Isuzu dealers and D-Max owners. He stated, “While our aim was to create a meaningful Merdeka celebration this year among our dealers and D-Max owners, we also wanted to celebrate this sense of unity that is so unique and apparent in Malaysia with a unified activity that transcends borders.”

The participants of Merdeka Convoy 66 enjoyed a full day of festivities, thanks to various programs organized by their respective dealerships. These activities ranged from visits to a durian farm to short off-roading courses, relaxing afternoons at the beach, and exploring rainforest resorts and shopping malls. It was not just about showcasing their D-Max vehicles but also about building lasting connections with fellow owners.

Owners of Isuzu D-Max vehicles expressed their delight at participating in this event and voiced their interest in engaging in more group activities with fellow D-Max enthusiasts. In a country that cherishes its unity in diversity, the Merdeka Convoy 66 stands as a testament to the bonds that connect Malaysians. Isuzu Malaysia and its dealerships have not only celebrated the nation’s 66th year of independence but have also brought together D-Max owners to forge lasting connections, echoing the spirit of togetherness that defines Malaysia.

As the sun set on this historic day, it was evident that the Merdeka Convoy 66 had left an indelible mark on the hearts of Isuzu D-Max owners, reinforcing their shared love for their vehicles and their nation.
