Here Is What SAIC Motor’s Plant In Thailand Looks Like

Take a look at this state of the art SAIC plant in Thailand

Chinese automaker, SAIC Motor (SAIC) is making big moves in the ASEAN market and to highlight this, here is a look at the brand’s plant in Thailand. Naturally the brand’s workers played their own roles at the SAIC Motor-CP manufacturing plant in Chonburi, Thailand to keep it at maximum efficiency.

Moreover, as early as 2013, Chinese car manufacturer SAIC teamed up with Charoen Pokphand Group to found SAIC Motor-CP, a joint venture, to develop the vast market in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries. The result is very clear in Thailand so why not also in Malaysia?

Well, it is apparent that SAIC has no presence in Malaysia at the moment, but the brand is surely going to ride the wave of success it has in the ASEAN market to make a name for itself in Malaysia sooner or later. When this happens, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) market will heat up in the country for sure.

These pictures clearly show the staff of this SAIC plant in Thailand hard at work making sure that the cars coming out of this factory are high quality and well made. Quality is always important, and some automakers in Malaysia definitely need to learn how to improve their product quality so the brand coming to Malaysia may put these carmakers on high alert and force them to do better.

Now that GWM, BYD and Chery are also all established in Malaysia, it is definitely a fair bet that other Chinese automakers will also capitalise on our country’s large car market. after all, some of the aforementioned Chinese brands are seeing massive success in the country already so another Chinese brand should also stand a fair chance to do the same.

On top of that, with the expertise and the quality of products that the brand possesses, it is sure to find success in Malaysia as well. Not to mention that the Chinese brand also makes some pretty good looking vehicles so the brand is sure to cause their competitors to sweat with anxiety when it enters the Malaysian market.
