Both variants of thee new BMW 7 Series are locally assembled as well
Hot off the extremely welcome reveal of the all new BMW 5 series, BMW Malaysia is now introducing the all-new BMW 7 series in Malaysia, available in two exclusive and locally assembled variants, namely the BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence, both of which are plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs).
Electrifying the Malaysian market once more and this time in the premium “boss besar” limousine segment, the all-new BMW 7 series makes its local debut and promises high-performance as well as dynamic driving experiences with unrivalled ambience that the 7 series is internationally renowned for.
Moreover, Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “Our BMW 7 Series portfolio hallmarks an ever-growing fleet of luxury-oriented vehicles that embody the highest level of opulence, prestige, and cutting-edge technologies.”
“Following the unveiling of the BMW i7, our first true all-electric sedan in this class, we bring forth the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence – two remarkable variants that are testament to our commitment in developing high-performing electrified vehicles in Malaysia for loyal customers in the country.” He added.
The all-new BMW 750e xDrive M Sport, the more sporty looking option adds a range of sporty design elements to the classy presidential sedan, while the more luxury-oriented Pure Excellence variant, limited to only 48 units, offers a sophisticated mix of elegance, comfort, and convenience with a more conventional look.
On top of that, both variants of the all-new BMW 7 series feature the brand’s new split headlight design, which are further enhanced with the Iconic BMW Glow crystal headlights, as well as the beautifully illuminated Iconic BMW Glow kidney grille that adds a new luxurious touch to the design, especially at night.
The all-new BMW 7 Series is powered by the brand’s iconic inline six engine paired to an electric motor with a battery capacity of 22.1 kWh, integrated into an 8-Speed Steptronic transmission allowing for a top speed of 250 km/h, courtesy of its 489hp and 700Nm of torque, giving it a century sprint of just 4.8 seconds.
Meanwhile the interior now also features the new BMW interaction bar and is even more luxurious than ever. The 750e xDrive M Sport variant also sports a flat-bottom steering wheel, while the cockpit is luxuriously outfitted with the BMW Curved Display, featuring the 12.3-inch Infotainment screen and 14.9-inch Control Display.
Naturally, the all-new BMW 7 series also comes with M signature high gloss fine-wood trim in fineline black with metal effect highlights in the M Sport variant, while the Pure Excellence variant arrives with a fine-wood trim oak mirror finish with grey metallic highlights and a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System as standard.
