Peugeot 2008 SE Introduced In Malaysia

The Peugeot 2008 SE adds a bit of zest to the compact crossover’s exterior look.

It has been more than one year since the Bermaz Auto Alliance launched the Peugeot 2008 – a compact crossover that’s big on performance and style. Unfortunately, this segment is particularly crowded in Malaysia. Since that launch, a number of rivals have brought new models to the segment.

In response, the French brand has created a Special Edition of the 2008 especially for our market that adds more to the exterior design to keep things fresh. The new Peugeot 2008 SE is an apperance package that is priced at RM2,900.

It includes graphic decals for the front bonnet and sides of the car, plus side skirt, front and rear bumper trims in matte black as well as Piano Black 17″ alloy rims.

While the Peugeot 2008 can be purchased in Amazonite Grey, Pearl White, Nera Black and Orange Fusion, the Special Edition is available only for the Orange Fusion and Pearl White finishes.

The Peugeot 2008 SE gets a one-year Genuine Accessory Warranty that begins at the time of purchase. Vehicle deliveries are expected by the end of April 2023 and bookings are available at all Peugeot showrooms nationwide.

The Peugeot 2008 is locally-assembled at the Stellantis Plant in Gurun. It is powered by a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo that is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. It has a 405L boot, full LED lighting, 6 airbags, autonomous braking, lane keeping aids and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with Peugeot’s innovative i-Cockpit system.
