Only 499 units of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Will be made
British luxury supercar maker, Aston Martin, makes some of the most desirable cars in the world and part of the appeal of the brand’s cars are the immense power they produce, and the brand’s latest offering, the DBS 770 Ultimate, equipped with a V12 making 760hp, does not disappoint.
In addition to more power, the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate also features a tweaked chassis and unique styling touches. The car marks the end of the current generation DBS and will see only 499 units being produced, with 300 of them being coupes and 199 being volantes. All units are, unsurprisingly, already spoken for.
Moreover, the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate also comes with a more pronounced front splitter, a new bonnet with a deep horse-shoe vent and gills, twill carbon fiber accents and a redesigned diffuser at the back. These are just some of the exterior highlights on the car that set it apart from other DBS models.
The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate also features unique 21-inch alloy wheels, finished in Satin silver, Satin Black, or Satin Black with diamond. The tyres used are Pirelli P Zero high-performance tyres measuring 265/35R21 at the front and 305/30R21 at the rear., which will no doubt aid in performance.
On top of that, the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate comes standard with Sports Plus Seats upholstered in quilt semi-aniline leather and Alcantara seats, carbon fiber paddle shifters as well as a unique trim combination with colorful inserts. Performance seats are an optional add on.
On top of that, owners of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate also have the option to further personalize their vehicle through the Q by Aston Martin division. Special sill plaques that also display the numbering of the limited production special edition car can be found on the armrest as well.
The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate comes fitted with an upgraded version of the twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 760hp and 900Nm of torque. This is a 45hp increase over the DBS Superleggera or Volante, and the engine is paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and comes with a limited-slip differential.
Aston Martin suggests that the DBS 770 Ultimate is “the most powerful production Aston Martin ever, and the fastest and most powerful DBS to date,” although the top speed of the car is 340km/h, the same as the standard DBS model but that top speed is already insane anyway, so I don’t think anyone will care.
So what do you guys think of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate? Are you sad that all the models are already sold ahead of launch? Do you think any Malaysians own one or more of these cars?
