UMW Toyota Motor declares the Malaysian winners of the 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. has recently announced the winners of the 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, held to inspire and encourage creativity among children worldwide. The contest saw participation from children between 7 to 15 years old, and the top three winners were selected from each category.
With more than 2,300 submissions from Malaysia, selecting the winners was a challenging task for the judges. The winning entries displayed remarkable creativity, innovation, and fresh ideas, reflecting the participants’ unique perspectives and dreams.
“The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest aims to encourage children to express their imagination and creativity and share their vision of a better world. It’s inspiring to see how the children have presented their ideas through artwork, and we congratulate all the winners,” said Datuk Ravindran K, President of UMW Toyota Motor.
The top three of each category winners are:
Yu Wan Yan (Category 1; 7 years old and under)
Lee Ruo Lin (Category 2; 8 to 11 years old)
Jason Chan Kin Lock (Category 3; 12 to 15 years old)
Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is a global event, and children from over 140 countries and regions have submitted their artwork over the years. In 2022, the contest received more than 530,000 entries, and the winners for the global contest will be announced by Toyota Motor Corporation in August 2023.
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is one of the world’s largest global art contests for children, held annually since 2004. The contest aims to inspire creativity among children and encourage them to share their vision for a better world through their art.
