The new Hyundai Sonata looks like it came from the future
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the eight generation of the all-new Hyundai Sonata has been officially revealed by the Korean carmaker and just like the other recent offerings from the brand, this car too, looks sportier and more futuristic than ever before and this new generation also sports a new badge.
Much like a certain Japanese car launched recently, this new generation Hyundai Sonata is far more than just a simple facelift, oh no, it is so much more than that. It takes everything we know about the old car and makes it new and one simple look at the car’s futuristic styling will prove this.
Moreover, The new Hyundai Sonata presents a fresh and unique take on the four-door coupe trend that captures the essence of Hyundai Motor’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design philosophy and it works. The defining traits of the N-line version of the car are its long hood, low front-end and fastback roof line.
Contrasting this dynamic overall design are the sharp lines which add to the clean surfaces as well as the black garnishing that starts at the front of the car and rises up towards the rear end of the car and the wide stance of the car also adds to the sporty look and feel of the Hyundai Sonata overall.
On top of that, the interior of the Hyundai Sonata is also just as beautiful and elegant as the exterior of the car. The inside of the car boasts a driver-centric layout filled with new and modern technology as well as a comfortable and spacious cabin that perfectly balances form and function.
For the first time in history of Hyundai, the Sonata features a panoramic curved display that combines both a 12.3-inch digital driver display and 12.3-inch infotainment screen in a simple layout. The touch-type climate control unit applied to the instrument panel also boosts the high-tech vibe as well.
In fact, everything about the new Hyundai Sonata practically screams “futuristic” sporty and swooping roof line to the 19 inch alloy wheels of the N-line version of the car to the tasteful colours of the interior to the shift-by-wire column styled gear shifter behind the steering wheel of the car, it all just makes the car so appealing.
All in all, the way the exterior of the car looks and the interior looking super comfortable and spacious with all the high-tech and futuristic technology and overall aesthetic, the Hyundai Sonata is looking like a real catch and I honestly love the way it all just works, what about you guys?
So what do you guys think about the new Hyundai Sonata? Do you think it looks great or did it overdo the whole “futuristic” aesthetic?
