2 limited editions of Ducati Panigale V4 made for the world titles of Francesco Bagnaia and Álvaro Bautista.
2022 was an incredible year for Ducati. For the first time ever, the company is World Champions in both MotoGP and World SBK in the same season. To celebrate this double triumph, Ducati has created two unique collectible models based on the Ducati Panigale V4 S.
The celebratory bikes were unveiled during the press conference anticipating “Campioni in Piazza2”, the event in which Ducati celebrates this historic double achievement with its fans.
Only 260 serialised units of each of these motorcycles will be produced – one with the liveries of Pecco Bagnaia’s #63 bike and the other with liveries of Álvaro Bautista’s #19 bike. Why 260? Because Ducati was ‘born’ in 1926. It’s a bit of a stretch, but who are we to tell the double World Champions how to celebrate their success?
The two Panigale V4 S World Champion Replica bikes are single-seaters only. They come with a billet aluminium upper clamp with a laser engraving of the model name and progressive number. They also get the nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, Akrapovič street-legal silencer, Brembo braking system with Stylema® R calipers and MCS master cylinder with remote adjuster, Rizoma billet aluminum adjustable footpegs as well as racing plexiglass. These special bikes also have a carbon fibre rear exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator cover, front and rear fenders, front brake ducts. Another carbon fibre element is the cover protecting the single-sided swingarm. This part also has titanium in its construction.
There’s also one small difference on the Álvaro Bautista #19 bike – it features a brushed aluminium tank.
Each of these limited edition bikes will be delivered in a packing case with dedicated graphics. They will come with a certificate of authenticity, a custom bike cover, and the Ducati Data Analyser+ system. Additional accessories can be mounted, such as the carbon fibre open clutch cover, license plate and mirror removal kits, billet aluminium racing fuel cap.
