Jaguar is going to unveil an exclusive F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 version of their SUV and it is going to be the first of the brand’s pinnacle high-performance SUV. This rare SUV will be designed by the personalisation experts at SV Bespoke and will be limited to only 394 units worldwide.

Moreover, this special edition Jaguar SUV pays homage to the racing success of the World Sports-Prototype Championship-Winning Jaguar XJR-9 in 1988, hence the name.
Mark Turner, Commercial Director of Special Vehicle Operations, Jaguar, said, “Since its introduction in 2019, the Jaguar F-PACE SVR has established itself as a highly characterful and rewarding high-performance car.” What’s more the Midnight Amethyst Gloss colour is also unique to this model only.
“Pairing these qualities with a level of SV Bespoke personalisation and exclusivity never offered before on F-PACE makes Edition 1988 an even more captivating proposition. With strictly limited availability, we’re confident this will quickly become the most sought-after F-PACE SVR yet.” He added.
On top of that, a unique laser-etched Edition 1988 Logo is engraved onto each front wing panel and this bespoke limited edition Jaguar also comes with Black Pack components fitted as standard which includes a black finish to the door mirror caps, brake calipers, wheel centre caps and the letter “R” on the SVR badging.
What’s more, the theme of black coloured finishes continues on the inside of this Jaguar SUV with the Jaguar leaper and horn ring also all being finished in black. That and the leather upholstery in the car is also finished in a mesmerizing black colour that not only looks great but also adds more class to the car as a whole.
Additionally, being the brand’s pinnacle performance SUV, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 by the brand’s 5.0 litre supercharged petrol V8 which launches this SUV from 0 to 100km/h in just 4 seconds on to a top speed of 286km/h and produces 550Ps of power.
What do you guys think of this new Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988? I think it looks stunning on the outside and absolutely captivating on the inside. I honestly wish the brand would make more of these cars as 394 seems a bit on the low end to me but then again, I’m sure the brand will have no trouble selling this car either way.
