Experience these four Kawasaki models at the Petronas GP ‘22
Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS), the distributing arm of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas) revealed the prices of four 2022 Kawasaki Touring and Superbike models at the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2022 (MotoGP ‘22) in October. These bikes are now in selected showrooms and are open for bookings.
The four Kawasaki models are the Ninja 1000SX, VERSYS 1000SE, Z900RS and the Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition. Do note that all of these bikes are already available in selected showrooms except the VERSYS 1000SE model which will only be made available in selected showrooms by the middle of December.
Now let’s take a look at these bikes. The first in this new group is the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. This fourth generation bike is the best of both worlds and allows riders to enjoy a sporty and comfortable touring bike. It is powered by a 1,043 cc inline-four engine, has a next level Bosch IMU and has a supported electronics package.
Next up is the Kawasaki VERSYS 1000SE, which is still yet to arrive and boasts more comfort for solo or two-up riding along with a fun-to-ride power to boot. It is powered by a 1,043 inline four engine with assist and slipper clutch, dual throttle valves, electronic cruise control as well as a Kawasaki quick shifter.
The third new arrival is the Kawasaki Z900RS and it is a nod to the legendary Z1 as it is also powered by a liquid-cooled 900cc class (984cc specifically) inline four engine and also features a assist and slipper clutch and also comes equipped with a horizontal back-link rear suspension.
The fourth bike on our list today is none other than the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition, which has carried the Kawasaki riders to six WSBK titles. It is powered by a 998cc four cylinder DOHC engine and air-cooled oil cooler, features a SHOWA balance free suspension, IMU enhanced electronics and high spec Brembo brakes.
