Spice Up Your Next BMW M2 With These BMW M Performance Parts

The BMW M2 gets some optional M Performance Parts ahead of its launch.

The all-new BMW M2 might just be the last gasp of the manual gearbox and 6-cylinder engine in a compact package from the company. Now, the company knows its demographic of buyers want something a little spicier and flashier than what’s available from the factory. To that end, they’ve come up with a bunch of BMW M Performance Parts that will fit right on the standard M2 at launch in April 2023. These M Performance Parts were all created with BMW M‘s motor racing expertise especially for the 460hp BMW M2.

The best way to add performance to any car is to subtract weight. To that end, BMW M has made a bunch of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) parts that not only cut kilos but also improve aero.

The list of CFRP performance parts includes:

  • front splitter
  • air intake trim
  • side skirt attachments
  • side spats
  • exterior mirror caps
  • rear spoiler
  • rear lip spoiler
  • rear diffuser
  • roof edge spoiler

Yes, that’s more than one M Performance spoiler option.

Carbon based Aramid has been used to create these two parts as well.

  • tow strap
  • antenna cover

Besides that, they’ve also added the following to the list of optionable M Performance parts for the M2:

    • Stainless steel front pipes

    • M Performance tailpipe trims in titanium/carbon fibre
  • M Performance suspension (height adjustable spring cups up to 10mm)

  • M performance tyre bags

There are also additions for the interior of the M2:

  • Alcantara knee pads
  • open-pore, matt-coated carbon fibre
  • M Performance badging in brushed aluminium
  • M Performance armrest in Alcantara
