The Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC is a 7-seater compact luxury SUV making it the most unique offering Mercedes-Benz Malaysia added to the EQ lineup
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is continuing their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and have made good on that today with the launch of the all-new Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC, alongside it’s other two brand new electric vehicles (EVs), the Mercedes EQS 450+ and Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia further emphasizes the uniqueness of the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC by ensuring that this car is compact on the outside but spacious on the inside.
Launching in Malaysia with an estimated on-the-road price without insurance of RM330,000 after tax and EV incentives, the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC weighs 2,175kg and has measurements of 4,684/1,834/1,667mm and has a wheelbase of 2,829mm.
Powering the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC is a 66.5 kWh battery producing 292hp and 520Nm of torque. This pushes the compact SUV to a top speed of 160km/h and allows it to achieve the century sprint in only 6.2 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also says that the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC will be able to achieve a WLTP electric range of up to 423km. Mercedes rates fuel consumption for this vehicle at 18.1kWh/100km.
The Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC supports 11kW AC charging which will take the car from 10 percent to full in 6 hours and 15 minutes. However, if time proves to be an issue, this car also supports 100kW DC charging which will take the car from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 32 minutes.
Being a 7-seater, the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC places a heavy emphasis on safety and comfort. With Artico leather seats and a spacious second-row complete with rear air-conditioning vents, this car has a look similar to any other Mercedes on the inside while offering a decent third-row of 2 seats which can accommodate children comfortably.
The Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC also looks stunning on the outside. Featuring a uniquely designed front grille, angular headlights, a connected tail light design in the rear, aluminium roof-rails and a bar of light connecting the headlights as well, this compact SUV is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
With as much practicality and luxury it has, I think this car will sell like hot cakes and may even outsell any other luxury compact SUV over the next year.
Do you think the Mercedes EQB 350 4MATIC will be the new first choice for Mercedes buyers with big families?
