The Honda BR-V is now available in two new colours in its final run before being replaced.

When it comes to compact crossover 7-seaters, the Honda BR-V has been a highly succesful model in the Malaysian market since 2017. It was given a minor facelift in 2020 and Honda actually have a 2nd gen model in Indonesia and will most likely launch it in Malaysia before the end of 2022. For now, Honda Malaysia are keen to keep the 1st gen BR-V fresh and exciting with two new colours – Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic. These colours replace Passion Red Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic. Both of these new colours first debuted in late 2021 with the new City Hatchback.

PRESS RELEASE

Honda Malaysia (or the Company) today announced two new colours, Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic, for its Bold Runabout Vehicle (BR-V). The new colour options will replace the existing Passion Red Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic colours respectively.

Since its launch in June 2020, the facelifted Full 7-Seater Crossover, the BR-V has sold more than 5,700 units as at April 2022. The encouraging sales performance is attributed to its overall design that meets customers’ needs for a 7-Seater with stylish SUV design, exciting driving performance and incredible versatility. The BR-V is powered by a class-leading 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) that generates a maximum power output of 120PS. Enhancing the exhilarating and engaging driving experience in the BR-V is the Paddle Shift, which is available in the V variant.

BR-V owners are also impressed by the car’s excellent versatility and spaciousness that can easily carry bulky items or belongings for the entire family as it comes with 223 litres of trunk space when all the seats are up. The multiple configurations allow owners to maximise the cargo space according to needs via the 60:40 One Touch Tilt & Tumble in the second row and 50:50 Tilt & Full Tumble in the third row, expanding the trunk space to 539 litres when the third-row seats are folded down.

The BR-V is also fitted with many value-added features such as Tweeter Speakers, Cargo Light and Cabin Filter. In addition, the excitement and enjoyment in the cabin of the V variant are elevated by its 7-inch Display Audio and stylish interior design that feature leather seats and gear knob with Red Finishing. To provide more comfort and convenience to all BR-V owners, Honda Malaysia has made Auto Air Conditioning, Smart Entry and Push Start Button a standard feature across all variants. For more information on the new colour options in the BR-V, customers can visit any of the 102 Honda authorised dealerships nationwide or call Honda Malaysia’s Toll-Free number at 1-800-88-2020.
