Route 77 Harley-Davidson Of KL Sets Up COVID Relief Fund

The economic disruption caused by the COVID-19 is devastating and far-reaching, to say the least. With this is mind, Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur has set up a month-long emergency relief fund campaign in which a percentage of proceeds from sales made at the dealership would be donated to selected charities in the Klang Valley.

According to the company, the breakdowns are 2% for apparel, 2% for parts and accessories and 1% on motorcycle purchases. The campaign is set to run throughout the month of October and all contributors will be given a certificate of appreciation.

On a side note, the Pan America is now available for test rides at Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur. The adventure bike was launched in Malaysia back in June.

Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur, an authorized dealer of Harley-Davidson motorcycles has started a community initiative to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign which will start on the 1st of October will run month long until the end of October. Participants may look up more information on the official dealer website at www.route77harley.com.

The COVID-19 Emergency relief fund will benefit a number of charities in the Klang Valley. All contributors will receive a certificate of appreciation as a sign of gratitude for their contributions. Throughout the duration of the campaign all proceeds collected from sales at Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur will have a percentage allocated towards the COVID-19 fund. The percentages are as follow; 2% for Motorclothes, 2% for Part & Accessories and 1% on motorcycle purchases.

“During this trying time and the pandemic largely affecting the economy and the livelihood of many, we would like to take the opportunity to help those who are in need. This is now a time for us to give back to the community,” said Sterz Yap, General Manager of Route 77 Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur.

Following this campaign, donations will be made through the dealership Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) chapter to the needy. The funds will be released to multiple charities and the needy in the form of monetary value and whichever seems appropriate which will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
