The Lexus RX L gets the Black Line treatment for US customers.
The Lexus RX is a successful, long-running part of the company’s lineup. There’s a long-wheelbase model called the RX L, which was available in Malaysia for a brief period. Besides being longer, this version also comes with 3-rows of seats.
In Malaysia, this variant was not too popular, likely due to its CBU pricing and its large displacement 3.5L V6 engine. However, in the United States, the RX L is as popular as ever and has just been given a ‘Black Line’ trim level.
Only 495 Lexus RX L Black Line units will be made, split up between 389 petrol (RX 350 L) and 106 hybrid (RX 450hL) models built on the Premium spec.
There will be two exterior colour choices – the existing Eminent White Pearl or the new Cloudburst Gray. The RX L Black Line comes with 20″ black wheels, with blacked-out lug nuts, out mirrors as well as a blacked-out grille, name plate and front bumper.
The interior gets black open-pore wood trim, black NuLuxe seats with blue stitching (first two rows). Blue stitching adorns the rest of the car’s interior upholstery. A set of black floormats, cargo mat and key gloves are also featured.
