Borgward, the German premium car brand that was revived in 2008 and came to market by 2017 has a new product and it’s called the BX3. By now, some of us are familiar with the Borgward BX5. This mid-sized SUV goes up against SUVs like the Haval H2 and the Proton X70 and is in fact sold in Malaysia from RM138K. We covered some of the details like its dimensions and price before, but we’ve now got a few more equipment details.
The BX3 carries most of Borgward’s design signatures, looking quite a bit like the BX5, with a more youthful and sporty character. The design work was done by studios in Stuttgart and Beijing.

The design of the Borgward BX3 was created in a global process with its Design Studios in Stuttgart, Germany, and Beijing, China.
The Borgward BX3 is a A0 Class SUV with a price range of 96.800 to 130.800 RMB in the Chinse market. It is focusing on young, or young at heart, customers who seek a quality brand product. For the start, a 1.4T gasoline engine is available, also with a 6AT gearbox. A standard multi-link rear independent suspension system allows excellent motion control performance. In terms of powertrains, the Borgward BX3 uses a 1.4T turbocharged direct-injection four-cylinder engine + Aisin 6-speed transmission. Aisin 6-speed transmission supports three modes: Eco, Sports and Snow. The car is light weight, has a low noise level, and excellent fuel economy.
