“We recently informed our Teams and Drivers that due to the current global Covid-19 situation we would be postponing the start of the 2020 TCR Asia Series.

Our priority at this moment is for the safety and well-being of the TCR Asia community and therefore the start of the 2020 Season – which was originally scheduled for April 12th at Sepang – will not now go ahead.

We are monitoring the developments on a regular basis and making contingency plans to begin the Season as soon as the situation becomes safe and is under control, and travel restrictions are lifted.

It is our hope that this will happen sooner rather than later, however, we can confirm that it is our intention to run a full season of five TCR Asia events, as originally planned.

We are currently working on scenarios with the season commencing anywhere from mid-May onwards and we will communicate our intentions at the appropriate time once a clearer picture emerges.

Our thoughts go out to everyone during this difficult time and the best thing we can all do, is to follow instructions, self distance and try to flatten the curve.”
