Back in October, we reported that the RM6,000,000 Volkswagen Sungai Besi 3S Centre was in the midst of closing down because Wearnes was quitting the Volkswagen business here. Well, now we’ve got confirmation that the dealership will be taken over by GVE Asia Group. This will be the group’s first venture into the Volkswagen brand.
Here’s how GVE Asia Group describes themselves:
GVE Asia began as a leading independent importer of supercar and luxury vehicles stocking premium marques such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Range Rover and more. Fast forward to today, the company has evolved from a full dealership to a one stop service showroom that includes a service centrewith the latest technology for after sales care and G’ZOX, a full-fledged Japanese auto-spa to cater for automotive detailing, tinting, coating and paint protection films.
Looking at their roster, they’re more than capable of preserving the brand image of premium European car brands, so Volkswagen should be a piece of cake for them.
Here’s the press release from Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia with more.
