Here’s another Ferrari named after an Italian city, the all-new Ferrari Roma. Featuring refined proportions and timeless design, the mid-front-engined 2+ coupé was recently unveiled to clients in a special event held in the iconic capital.
Powering the Roma is Ferrari’s award winning twin-turbo V8 engine with a displacement of 3,855 cc. In this version, the engine churns out 620 PS at 5,750 – 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque at 3,000 – 5,750 rpm.
Thanks to the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that was introduced on the SF90 Stradale, the Roma is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds before reaching 200 km/h in another 5.9 seconds. Top speed is rated at more than 320 km/h.
As for dimensions, the Roma measures 4,656 mm in length, 1,974 mm in width and 1,301 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. The car tips the scales at 1,472 kg dry.
Technical specification aside, the Ferrari Roma is a contemporary representation of the carefree, pleasurable way of life that characterised Rome in the 1950s and ‘60s. It offers discerning clients the finesse and refinement that brings the concept of “la Dolce Vita” right up to date.
