Here are leaked images of the all new 2020 Volkswagen Golf.
Volkswagen AG has recently announced the release date of the new generation of the legendary Golf model on October 24 in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Initially Volkswagen planned to launch this all new Golf in February 2019 and then it was moved to September 2019 and now it is ready for launch in a weeks time.
This all new Golf will be equipped with more digital and connected features than ever before found in a Volkswagen Golf. It will be packed with more innovations and will also have an expressive design language which will somewhat continue from the previous generation.
Connectivity
In the new model, the strengths that made Golf a global bestseller have been further refined. In addition to the new range of efficient engines, an improved suspension offers a boost in driving agility. This new VW Golf will also be a trendsetter in terms of its cabin where there will be assisted driving features included.
Design Language
This all new VW Golf exterior design will be more dynamic than ever and yet it will be instantly recognizable as a Golf on all sides.
Cabin Looks
Inside this VW Golf there will be a completely new dashboard which will look totally different from any current Volkswagen model on sale. Fresh colors and materials for an upmarket look and upholstery that goes with current trends will be used and not forgetting an all new digital cockpit that the VW Group has been using in all its models will be used in this Golf.
VW also informs us that the new Golf will also be sold with a mild hybrid propulsion system, which will work with a 48 V electric system, for the first time in the model’s history. Most likely it will be offered as standard in Europe and not for this part of the world as yet.
There will be a range of petrol engines and also a plug-in hybrid version is planned with an electric driving range up to 80km.
Sales of the new generation Volkswagen Golf in Europe will start at the end of February next year. This new VW Golf will appear first in the German market and then only in other European countries followed by right hand drive versions for ASIA by late 2020.
