Awesome looking build is just one of many that will be coming for this all new Supra
Here comes another tuning program for the all new Toyota Supra and it is from California-based Evasive Motorsports. This street tuning look for the GR Supra some how does not match the aggression of the Toyota GR Supra GT4 Concept which was shown at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March.
This body-kit from Evasive Motorsports was developed jointly with DuSpeed. This kit makes the Supra lower, wider, and meaner. It adds a sizable, speed-bump-eating splitter to the front bumper, side skirts, and a huge wing out back. Smaller door mirrors, and BBS alloy wheels add a finishing touch to the look.
From the Toyota showroom this Supra comes with a BMW-sourced, 3.0-liter straight-six engine with twin-turbocharges to deliver 340 horsepower and 500Nm of useable torque. It takes just 4.3 seconds to reach 100km/h from standstill and this Supra comes a tail happy rear when pushed the right way.
Toyota chief engineer Tetsuya Tada has confirmed to the media that quicker variants of the Supra will be built and are on the way.
Evasive Motorsports is not the first company to dress the 2020 Supra up in a body kit and they will not be the only one showing a tuned Supra at this years SEMA show. This full kit costs nearly USD24,000 which is about RM90,000 and this buys you a decent family sedan or pickup truck in Malaysia.
Toyota’s TRD division revealed some of the aftermarket parts it developed for the coupe in May 2019, and announced plans to sell them to Japanese enthusiasts looking for a visual upgrade.
This Supra is designed to be a run and exciting sports car and even Shigeki Tomoyama, the president of Toyota’s Gazoo Racing division, said that Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda took an active role in the Supra’s development as he wanted it to have a “more mobile” rear axle so as to have a tail wagging sports car.
