The New Hyundai i10 Has Quite a Bit of Equipment

Hyundai hasn’t launched a new i10 in Malaysia in quite a few years, but we thought we’d share some information on the latest version. It was shown last week at the Frankfurt International Motor Show with an all-new design, some new technology, but a new 5-speed automated manual gearbox.

The i10 is slightly larger and has better proportions than before. The roof has been lowered by 20mm, the body has been widened by 20mm as well and optional 16″ alloys complete the look. A wider ‘Cascading’ front grille is present here as well as round LED DRLs. A new and interesting C-Pillar design with the ‘i10’ logo embedded is the biggest highlight of the car’s profile view.

The i10 is available as a 4 or 5 seater model. Its beltline has been brought down at the front by 11mm and at the rear by 13mm. With the new C-pillar, this gives better visibility all-around. It has a 252 litre boot, impressive for an A-segment hatch.

3 new colours: Dragon Red, Brass and Aqua Turquoise, have been added to the 7 original exterior colour options. Two tone roofs in either Black or Red are available.

Here’s some of the equipment Hyundai managed to fit into the new i10:

  • 8″ colour touchscreen
  • Reverse camera
  • Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
  • Wireless Charging pad
  • Bluelink telematics
  • Find My Car feature
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
  • High Beam Assist
  • Lane Keep Assist System
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Intelligent Speed Limit Warning
  • Idle Stop & Go

Here are the car’s mechanical specifications:
