0Top Up Your Touch ‘n Go Cards Before You ‘Balik Kampung’
With the coming of Aidiladha, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) wishes all highway customers a safe and happy travel with their loved ones.
To help make travel their safer, smoother and more convenient, PLUS strongly recommends customers to plan their journey and most importantly, top-up their Touch ‘n Go cards earlier.
PLUS anticipates the traffic plying its highways will shoot up to more than 20 percent from 1.7 million vehicles during normal working days between 9 to 12 August as well as 17 and 18 August.
As such, traffic flow at major toll plazas will be hugely disrupted if highway customers fail to ensure sufficient balance in their Touch ‘n Go cards and they are unable to carry out their toll transaction. This will also affect the comfort and movement of other highway customers at the toll plaza.
PLUS would like to remind that no Touch ‘n Go card top-up service is provided at the exit lane at its toll plazas. However, highway customers can still top-up their cards at 10,000 reload centres covering ATM machines, R&Rs, petrol stations, malls, self service kiosks and convenient stores throughout the country.
PLUS also reiterates that toll transactions via PayDirect e-wallet cannot be performed at PLUS toll plazas. As such, highway users are advised to only use Touch ‘n Go cards and SmartTAGs for toll transactions on its highways.
To help the customers to plan their journey, PLUS also advises them to download the PLUS App to receive the latest traffic updates and information. Traffic updates are also continuously provided through the PLUSTrafik Twitter and highway electronic message boards.
