Subaru Levorg 2020 gets a less power and more technology
Previously the Subaru Levorg was offered in Malaysia with a turbo 1.6L engine good for 170hp and 250Nm) and we missed out on the other version which was for Europe only and had a 2.0 liter engine good for 300hp and 400Nm.
Now comes a facelift Levorg with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter boxer from the FB family, which produces 150hp and 198Nm of torque.
The announced fuel consumption, calculated based on the realistic WLTP cycle, is 7.3 liters in mixed mode. For comparison, the 1.6-liter turbo engine had been registered in the old NEDC 6.9-liter / 100 km cycle. The all-wheel drive system remains.
Inside the cabin, Subaru has installed a new Gen 3.1 multimedia system working with a seven-inch touch screen, which supports DAB digital radio, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
There are also LED headlamps with lighting function in curves, dual air conditioning system, rain and light sensors, a rearview camera and an updated EyeSight safety system.
More will be shared soon on the ASEAN version and it’s specification.
