The 2019 Proton Saga will be launched this evening
Later this evening Proton Cars and Geely will be unboxing the 2019 Proton Saga. So what can we expect from this revised Saga?
How many new parts?
Well for sure, just like the 2019 Exora, Iriz and Persona, this revised Saga will be thoroughly revised with revised styling, improvements to 300 or so parts as well as first-in-class smart features that will set it apart from its main rival, the Bezza.
Yes, Proton and Geely want part of the sales success of the Bezza and so they will deliver a 2019 Saga with all the right boxes ticked to tickle buyers into their showrooms.
Intelligent features for sure
This Saga will come equipped with an intelligent infotainment system, which Proton and Geely introduced in the Iriz, Persona and Exora which will be first- in-class features set to revolutionise the market segment.
Cabin connectivity
It will offer apps for music streaming, online navigation and voice recognition accessed via a 7-inch touchscreen featuring a full colour display and 16GB of internal memory. For added convenience, the system will have a mirroring function for Android smart phones.
OTA included?
The system should also receive Over The Air (OTA) updates periodically with new apps added as and when they become available.
