Race driver, TV personality and record-setter Jessi Combs has passed away in an unfortunate accident yesterday. The accident occurred while Combs was attempting to break her previously set land speed record.
Combs raced professionally, and also appeared on season 7 of Mythbusters, season 6 of Overhaulin’, All Girls Garage, and more. She had set the women’s land speed record officially with a speed of 632km/h and hit a top speed of 709km/h in October 2013. She returned and set a new top speed of 768km/h in September 2016.
