In conjunction with the 2019 Kuching Marathon, Isuzu Malaysia and their local dealers raised funds for Hope Place Kuching and Persatuan OKU Kuching (a.k.a House of Joy).
Isuzu Malaysia and their dealers Dai Max Automobile, Rhino Motors, and KM Mobil, raised a total of RM17,000 for both of those charitable organisations.
Isuzu Malaysia was the main sponsor of the 2019 Kuching Marathon. Besides raising funds for these local charities, Team Isuzu also participated in the run.
This team consisted of Isuzu Malaysia’s top management, including CEO Koji Nakamura, and members of the media. DSF.my was proud to be a part of Team Isuzu for this run.

CEO of Isuzu Malaysia Koji Nakamura together with members of Team Isuzu who participated in the Kuching Marathon 2019 handed over mock cheques of funds raised by the team to Hope Place Kuching and Persatuan OKU Kuching.
Receiving on behalf of Hope Place Kuching was its founder, Kelvin Wan Kwong Wei while representing Persatuan OKU Kuching was its founder, Shen Chiu Hsian.
The team comprising management and staff of Isuzu Malaysia and members of the media (including us) ran various distances in the event as part of their efforts to raise funds for local charity.
“It was a tremendous effort by the Team to participate in the marathon and to raise funds for charity. I am grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this,” said Nakamura.
The funds were partly raised through pledges by Isuzu dealers in Sarawak including Dai Max Automobile, KM Mobil and Rhino Motors who were also represented at the ceremony by Terry Tiong Ung Hung, Tan Kim Hoon and Amy Lim respectively.
