This October at the Tokyo Motor Show, Honda Japan plans to make the biggest noise at the show by unveiling their all new Honda Jazz (also known as the Honda Fit in Japan and North America).
This next generation Honda Jazz will get the usual Type R goodies that we have seen in the Civic Type R like body hugging seats, sports steering wheel and possibly 3 pedals to use when driving.
To ensure its hot hatch status this new Type R Jazz will ne equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that will be turbocharged (probably the same unit used in the Civic and CR-V 1.5L) which is targeted to produce a healthy 220 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Honda seems to have serious intentions with this hot hatch looking at the rivals like the Peugeot 208 Gti and VW Polo Gti.
